Total Doc Converter is an application which allows you to transform documents from various formats (including DOC, DOCX, TXT, RTF and ODT) to PDF, Excel, HTML, JPEG, TIFF, and others.
The interface of the program is clean and intuitive. Thanks to the Explorer-based layout, you can easily locate and select documents for conversion. Batch processing is supported.
So, you can specify the output destination and format, along with paper size and orientation (optionally enable Total Doc Converter to convert every page to a separate file).
Furthermore, you can select the font style and size, as well as document margins, encryption method (e.g. copy, modify, print, form fill), signature (e.g. location, contact, reason) and properties (e.g. author, creator, title), along with JPEG quality.
In addition, you can change the language of the interface, refresh or print the list, check files by mask, include subfolders in the selection, use command-line parameters, and more. The program takes up a moderate amount of system resources, has a very good response time and manages to keep a very good quality when it comes to the text layout, images and tables.
Unfortunately, there is no help file available (except for the one that explains the command-line parameters, for advanced users). Also, you have to separately install third-party components in order for the tool to work. Otherwise, we strongly recommend Total Doc Converter to all users.
